About The Author
Travis Low
Travis Low was born and grew up in Westminster, Colorado, and has shown a lifelong interest in golf, beginning when he was only five years old. His family members, his father Greg, stepfather Jimmy and grandfather Jack, contributed to his love of the sport and taught him the fundamentals of the game. It was upon this first introduction that a remarkable series of local fairways to intercollegiate standards was built.
Travis was a star golfer who played all four years at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. There, he won a first place title in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with his team. He received personal awards due to his involvement in the sport. He was a great Medalist of the conference. He played professional golf after college but shifted his attention to coaching under a renowned teacher Ed Oldham at The Ranch Country Club.
Travis had to cope with numerous problems, such as losing half of his thumb after an accident. Although he is a perfect example of endurance, he works hard to re-learn the game that he loves. He now lives with his wife and his two children in Fairhope, Alabama, and is determined to contribute back to golf. Travis is a graduate majoring in both psychology and business management, and hopes to motivate people as he shares his experience and the knowledge he presents in this book.
